Attention Home Builders in Five Oaks of Frankfort Subdivision: 

To keep Five Oaks looking distinctive and upscale, we’re asking that new home designs don’t closely resemble homes already in the subdivision—in overall look, rooflines, façades, or layouts. We want variety and thoughtful design that adds to the neighborhood. 

For exterior materials, we’d like to see a strong emphasis on stone on street-facing sides. Other materials can be used as accents, but stone should be the primary feature to achieve the high-quality look our community is aiming for. 

The Board also strongly favors side-load garages to support a cleaner streetscape. If a front-facing garage is proposed, it should be carefully designed (setbacks, windowing, carriage doors, and strong architectural detailing) to minimize its visual impact. 

Please know the Board will be looking closely at all new submissions with these points in mind. If a plan feels too similar to an existing home or doesn’t meet our material or garage expectations, we may ask for changes. 

When you submit, include elevations (all sides), a materials and colors list, and a simple streetscape view to show how the home fits with its neighbors.
